you dont know how much it means to me to see you, though thoroughly tired, sit beside me for 3 hours straight helping me understand the assignment. you smiled throughout that tiredness, you smiled whenever answering my inane or very naive questions about programming, you smiled even though WordNet was giving you more problems than you ever thought a programme would ever do.
you smiled through all that pain you must be feeling inside; trying to be busy and pushing everything you were thinking about to the back of your mind. you smiled when shaking off my rambling apologies, saying it's okay; you smiled saying it was great company, and it was good to stay busy.
im sorry i wasn't sensitive enough, im sorry that as a friend i never noticed, or even bothered to wonder about.
